“Do not try to fix whatever that comes into your life. Fix yourself in such a way that whatever happens, you will be fine.” ~ Sadhguru

Yvette discovered yoga in 2001 and has practiced it since then. Yoga was life-changing for her, helping her regain her self-confidence, and self-awareness and has taught her to respond positively to difficult situations. She now practices yoga to experience life more fully and deeply.

Having experienced how yoga helped her mentally, physically and emotionally, she now wishes to share this with as many people as possible, so that they can experience and enjoy life more intensely and joyfully.

Yvette has trained with many teachers in the past and she is currently learning and practicing yoga from Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation.

She enjoys practicing and teaching traditional yoga as she believes this can help individuals be more meditative, calm and self-aware of their physical, mental, and emotional states. In a world where mental diseases such as depression, anxiety and stress are common, Yvette advocates that such yogic practices can stabilize one’s emotional and mental states. Most of Yvette’s students often describe her as inspirational, perceptive, and sensitive to individuals’ needs.

Off the mat, Yvette loves to indulge in talk shows, podcasts and articles about personal growth and development. She often enrolls herself into yoga courses and retreats to further her understanding of yoga. She enjoys playing the piano, going on nature walks, and traveling widely.

Yvette loves dogs. Some of her students think she is a “dog whisperer” as she seems to have a knack in winding them up and making them really excited.
