Pilates Sculpt

Pilates Sculpt uses techniques and concepts that are aimed at building core strength, stability and flexibility whilst emphasizing spinal health. Some of the principles that guide the Pilates method include concentration on each movement, use of the abdomen and low back muscles, flowing precise movement patterns and steady controlled breathing. Options are given for beginners to move in a non-intimidating environment with intermediate students.

Gentle Flow

Gentle Flow is a class adapted to allow the body to move in a manner that creates mobility and connection. Transitions from one asana to the next are softer and slower in comparison to Vinyasa Flow or Hatha Flow. There are no headstands or arm balances in this class. Expect to feel invigorated, energized and rooted.

Pilates Rhythm

Pilates Rhythm is an Ohm Studio Signature program. Apart from proper form and alignment, music is a large part of this program where participants are encouraged to move with control to the rhythm of one’s breath and to the beats of the music. If you love moving to music and enjoy the burn and sweat of sculpting and strengthening muscles, this class is for you. Expect to torch a considerable amount of calories and sweat heaps. It is a multi-level class.

CARDIO PILATES

Cardio Pilates is an Ohm Signature Program where attendees are led through a series of Pilates-inspired sequences and moves that will elevate the heart-rate. The sweaty cardio segment lasts for about 30 mins followed by 20 mins of Pilates Sculpt moves where more focus on spinal articulation and muscle engagement is explored. The class ends with about 10 mins of stretches and cool-down aimed at soothing and restoring tired muscles.
If you like to sweat heaps and get the heart-rate up whilst sculpting and toning muscles, this is the class for you.

Contemporary Pilates

Contemporary Pilates takes the classic method a step further, blending traditional exercises with modern physiotherapist insights. This dynamic approach introduces new moves, refines existing ones, and even utilizes unique equipment. Its focus on breathwork and relaxation techniques enhances movement while calming the mind, making it a perfect workout for both strength and serenity.

Yoga Core

Yoga Core is an invigorating class that harness the power of the core to move from one asana to the next. This practice builds resilience. Through intentional transitions, practitioners are encouraged to place a strong focus on strength, stability and balance. This empowering class also promotes mindful exploration of various postures (or asanas) amidst a creative combination of fluid movement and deeper, prolonged holds.

Yoga Stretch

Tight muscles from too many workouts often make us feel constricted both in the body and mind. With the help of various props like bolsters, blocks, and straps, Yoga Stretch classes iron out these tight and tired muscles, to create space in the body and clarity in the mind. This is the perfect class for anyone who wants to increase joint mobility and release built-up tension.

Yoga Flow & Stretch

This is a flow class that places an emphasis on strengthening the lower body and core. Stretches are interspersed throughout the class where muscles that were engaged are encouraged to lengthen. An all-rounded class for anyone who wants to focus on toning, strengthening, and increasing the elasticity of their muscles.

Yogalates

A hybrid class that encompasses the spine-centric nature of Pilates and the mindful flow of Yoga. Vinyasa Flow / Hatha Flow forms the fabric of this class where students move from one asana to the next through mindful breathing. The principles of Pilates create the texture of this fabric as classical Pilates moves are adapted and interspersed throughout the entire duration of this class. There is an element of Pilates core training towards the end of the class followed by savasana.
